One of the members of Blendon Archaeological and Research Group is archaeologist Tony Thomas, who is also involved with the Lesnes Abbey Estate Research Group, formed to provide a better understanding of Lesnes Abbey and its estate through archaeological fieldwork, surveys, historical research and publication of the findings.
