Many people connected with the Blendon estate were famous nationally, but just as interesting are the stories of servants employed by families who occupied the house.
Below is a summary of later residents with the dates they occupied Blendon Hall:
1807-1824: John Smith, banker and MP
1825-1839: The Campbell family
1839-1863: Oswald Smith, banker
1863-1929: William Cunliffe Pickersgill, American banker, and then his daughter Anna, who was married to Charles Augustus Jay (known as Carl).
